Cristela (1977/1978) Cristela (1977/1978) is a famous American actor and comedian from the United States. She also wrote she produced, acted, and wrote in the ABC sitcom Cristela. This made her the first Latina woman to write the show, write, produce and also perform in her own US primetime comedy.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Alonzo was born in San Juan, Texas. He is the youngest of four children. His mother Natalia Gonzalez worked double shifts for a Mexican restaurant for over 20 years and his father Adalberto Alonzo were both Mexican. Alonzo was born to a mother and father who were abusive. The mother of Alonzo abandoned her husband and left her children alone. Alonzo revealed that she has not met her father in person, who passed away from cancer in 2009.
