Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson (born July 7th, 1968) is an American actress who is known for her performances in the roles of Linda Reagan in the CBS police procedural Blue Bloods as Alex Taylor on the NBC drama Third Watch, and Josie Watts in the NBC daytime soap drama Another World.
Early life
Carlson was raised in Glen Ellyn by Robert Eugene Carlson, her father being a schoolteacher. He was born in Elmhurst ([DuPage County Illinois to Chicago). She is of Swedish descent, and has roots from Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: College , and early career
She first came to Hollywood through her part as a background actor in the film Lucas starring Charlie Sheen (Corey Haim) and Winona Ryder. She then followed her elder sister Betsy, who went to Knox College in Galesburg.
