Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actress and model. Born on 11th November 1966. Her first feature film appearance was a tiny role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Donavan played the role featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte was in Taffin (in the year 1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody was a model when the opportunity was offered by a hopeful photographer. Her career has since transformed into commercial modeling. Doody strictly avoided fashion, thongs and glamour when she was modeling. Doody was offered a tiny role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill when she was spotted by the casting director. Doody was selected as one of the top twelve promising young actors in the year 1986 in John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody was just aged 18 when she made her first appearance in the Bond character. To date, she is the youngest Bond girl. in 1987 Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying in which she played IRA member Siobhan Doovan. Doody was seen as Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 adaptation of The Secret Garden. She played Lilias. The Storyteller episode from 1988 featured her in the lead part in Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She worked with Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as a archaeologist from the forensic field in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody played alongside Sean Connery in the film, as Indy's dad. Doody costarred with Jonathan Pryce, in the British miniseries Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for The Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Following her move to Hollywood, Doody became an international star. The Asphyx was the remake she made in 2011. Her first two seasons on the E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). She was given the Almeria Tierra de Cinema award on 21 November 2018.
